About The Mid Valley Rec Center

Our Story

   Two years ago, with the financial assistance of the Mid Valley Metro District, a group of residents began exploring the feasibility of building an indoor recreation center in the mid-valley. This steering committee retained the services of Green Play, a recreation planning and consulting firm based out of Broomfield, Colorado.  Green Play assisted this committee in conducting a statically valid survey and holding several public meetings to gather information about our community's recreational needs. The results overwhelmingly resounded the need for a centralized indoor recreation facility where children, adults, seniors and community groups can gather to excercise and be active year round. This committee is now well on it's way to making this community dream a reality.
